PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Tanya Ramos of North Las Vegas shared this photo of Coco and Blue staying inside with the air-conditioning to beat the heat. “These are my rescued family members.”

“This is Daisy, and American foxhound,” wrote Claudia Cole of Las Vegas. “Everyday, I come home to Daisy sleeping in bed. Daisy is not allowed in bed, yet she seems unconcerned being told, ‘Bad girl, get out of my bed!’ ”

“Here is a picture of Molly, our 2-year-old Shih Tzu, getting ready for her birthday party,” wrote David and Juanita Clark of Las Vegas. “She is like a daughter to us.”

Lexey Reeder of Henderson shared this photo of her pets Zoe and Copy Cat. “Together they enjoy taking long naps, cleaning each other and chasing each other around the house. They are incredibly close,” she wrote. “Copy Cat was adopted from Lied Animal Shelter, Zoe was adopted from a neighbor last October.”
