PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“This is Grace, the most lovable pit bull you will ever meet,” wrote Ed and Pat Ryerson of Las Vegas. “We adopted her just before she went to the pound. But for the grace of God, we got her, thus the name.”

“This is our beautiful 6-month-old Maltese, Emmy, during a weigh-in,” wrote Wayne and Michele Young of Henderson.

“These are our three adorable Yorkies, Beau, Mi Mi and Britt,” wrote Marilyn and Mel Larson of Anthem. “They are the light of our lives and our source of daily entertainment. All three of them are friends for life!”

“These are photos of our long-haired miniature dachshund, Bear,” wrote Therese and Rick Ainsworth of Anthem. “We call him Aqua Dog because we can’t keep him out of the pool. He jumps in and swims laps, and he loves to retrieve toys tossed into the pool.”
