Don and Adel Dahlheimer of Las Vegas shared this photo of their ever-vigilant guard dog, Keona, in her favorite position. “Keona was adopted from Lied on Jan. 22, 2009, following her return to Lied, after two days, by somebody with the notation, 'not working out,' ” he wrote. “Somebody’s impatience and apparent demand for immediate perfection provided a wonderful opportunity for our German shepherd, Storm, to become a big sister.”
 

"My German shepherd, Shadow, 10,  has been with me since 7 weeks of age," wrote Carole LaRocca of Las Vegas. "He LOVES his stuffed puppy! He doesn’t destroy them; just wears them out."
