"This is our granddaughter Lauren pointing to our golden retriever Aspen. She loves Aspen and Aspen loves her," wrote Julie Morter of Las Vegas.

Casper is a 32-pound Bichon Frise, rescued 10 years ago from the NSPCA."Every morning he sits and waits for his biscuit. He is the most wonderful dog I have ever had," wrote Fern Jennings of Las Vegas.

"Hannah, left, is our 'ballaholic,' and her stepbrother Harley gives lots of kisses with that tongue of his," wrote Kathy Oiness of Henderson.

Elsa Carman of Las Vegas submitted this photo of Ming, who is 16 years old and just finished reading the Sunday paper on her mom and dad's bed.

"I just have to share this photo of Tia, my five-month-old Maltese," wrote Annette Novak of Las Vegas. "She was given to me by my husband as an aid in helping me through my empty nest syndrome. ... Nothing can replace any of my four beautiful daughters, but Tia is a sweet reminder of all of them."
