R-J's Claire DeJesus receives CCIM committee award
Certified Commercial Investment Management's Southern Nevada chapter has awarded Claire DeJesus, publisher for Las Vegas New Homes Guide, its Outstanding Committee Member of the Year award. The trade group made the announcement during its holiday luncheon in December at the Four Seasons hotel. Nevada Development & Realty Co. President and CCIM past President Tedd Rosenstein of CCIM said DeJesus was chosen for her work on the trade organization's fall Wine Soiree committee. The event was held Sept. 23. It was the group's most successful fundraiser in recent history, according to Rosenstein.

Devin Reiss joins Coldwell Banker Premier Realty staff
Realtor Devin J. Reiss has joined Coldwell Banker Premier Realty staff as its branch manager for the Green Valley office in Henderson. Reiss was the 2007 president of Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors and owner of the Las Vegas-based Realty 500 Reiss Corp. for more than 16 years.
Reiss has served on GLVAR's board of directors from 2004-2008 and in 2010. He currently is serving as the chairman of the trade group's Political Affairs Committee.
Additionally, Reiss has held positions at the Nevada Association of Realtors, namely 2009 president, served on its board from 2003-2010, and is the current Legislative Committee vice chairman.
"Devin is the quintessential leader for CBPR's Green Valley office," said Bob Hamrick, chairman and CEO of the real estate brokerage firm. "His experience in the business, GLVAR and political affairs involvement and overall pursuit of excellence mentality make him an excellent choice to coach anyone who shares a similar mind set. Bob and Molly Hamrick purchased the company in 1998. It has three offices in Summerlin, Henderson and Centennial Hills, and has more than 300 agent affiliates.
