Rhodes Homes builds Avellino homes at Tuscany Residential

Tuscany Residential Village's Avellino neighborhood is offering a select number of homes to be available in about 30 days, said John Means, sales manager for Rhodes Homes.

Residential Village is a guard-gated, golf-course master-planned community that sits in the hills of Henderson, surrounded by mountains and overlooks the lights of the Las Vegas Valley.

"The opportunity to own a home like the ones we're offering at Avellino usually comes with a lengthy wait for the home to be built from start to finish," Means said. "At Avellino, we have a handful of homes that are well appointed and only await the new homeowner's choice of flooring before they can complete the homes."

He said the homes have plenty of space for family and entertaining.

"We've found that most of our buyers are people that enjoy entertaining family and friends and they need a kitchen that's spacious and flows well into the rest of the home," he said. "The kitchens are well appointed, with the appliances, cabinetry and granite counters designed to meet with even the most discerning chef's approval, yet are also warm, comfortable and inviting."

Tuscany's Avellino offers six floor plans that include up to 4,392 square feet. The homes can feature up to five bedrooms, with some having first-floor rooms that are perfect for guests or family members.

Avellino is unique among developments in the master-planned community in that many of the neighborhood's lots are on the development's signature golf course.

Seven model home communities, comprising 22 models and more than 33 floor plans, ranging from 1,724 to 4,392 square feet, are now open in Tuscany.

Each offers floor plans for three-story townhomes, single-story homes, two-story homes and three-story homes with lofts, great rooms and kitchens featuring islands.

Prices in Tuscany begin in the $200,000s.

When Tuscany Residential Village is complete, a road that loops through the 18 neighborhoods and around the golf course will bring together an estimated 6,000 residents living in nearly 2,000 homes.

A 35,000-square-foot recreation center, La Vita Tuscana, is under construction that will be open to homeowners of the community and will include a basketball court, two racquetball/handball courts, fitness room, meeting rooms, card room, billiards, tennis courts, lap pool, lagoon pool, children's playground and picnic area.

To visit the models, take Lake Mead Drive past Boulder Highway to Mohawk Drive and turn left.

Office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. For more information, call 566-1077 or visit rhodeshomes.com.
