Rhodes offers models at Pesaro in Tuscany

Rhodes Homes' Pesaro neighborhood, located in the heart of its Tuscan-themed Henderson master plan, is offering its model homes for sale. The collection of single-story homes opened three months ago and has welcomed its first resident.

"This neighborhood has some of the best floor plans I've seen in Tuscany," said DeAnna Forsyth, sales agent at Pesaro and longtime employee of Rhodes Homes. "The smallest lot size in Pesaro is 6,000 square feet, which is 1,000 square feet larger than the average lot size in Tuscany."

Floor plans include standard kitchen islands, oversized closets and additional garage space.

"They really maximize the space while giving each home an open and spacious feeling," Forsyth said. "And because they are single story, they have higher ceilings which also give that open feeling."

Three model homes are available for sale at Pesaro, in addition to home sites both on and off the Tuscany golf course.

"Two are offered with standard 21/2-car garages and one is offered with a three-car garage," Forsyth said. "One of the top things we hear from home buyers is that they need additional storage space for their athletic equipment and holiday decorations. At Pesaro, they have plenty of space to store their belongings right in their home rather than needing to rent a storage unit."

Pesaro floor plans also feature oversized closets in both the master and secondary bedrooms, depending on the plan.

"In Residence 2379, the master closet is nearly as large as the second bedroom," she said. "We have found this to be one of the most popular features in the home."

Residence 2379, named for its square footage, includes three bedrooms, two baths, powder room, 21/2-car garage, great room and kitchen island. A den and covered patio are offered as options.

Residence 2683 includes three bedrooms, three baths, three-car split garage, great room and kitchen island. A fourth bedroom, den and covered patio are offered as options.

Residence 2700 is offered with four bedrooms, two baths, powder room, den, 21/2-car garage and great room. Options for this model include fifth and sixth bedrooms, covered patio and double oven.

Homes at Pesaro are priced from the mid-$300,000s. Forsyth said Tuscany Residential Village provides added value by furnishing community amenities exclusively for residents.

"Tuscany residents pay a modest monthly homeowners association fee (about $140 per month) and receive access to Tuscany's recreation center, playgrounds, walking paths and common areas in addition to receiving 50 channels of cable television," she said.

For a limited time, Pesaro is also offering incentives for new home buyers to use towards closing costs and upgrades in the homes, Forsyth said.

The centerpiece of the community is the Tuscany Golf Club, designed by renowned golf-course architect Ted Robinson Jr.

The 6,906-yard, par 72 course was named Golf magazine's No. 1 Golf Course in Las Vegas in its annual BBQ (Bang for the Buck Quotient) rankings.

Tuscany's 35,000-square-foot recreation center, La Vita Tuscana, includes lap pool, lagoon pool, hot tubs, full work-out facility, aerobics room, indoor and outdoor basketball, racquetball, tennis, arts and crafts rooms, billiards, conference rooms, social areas, park areas and jungle gyms for children.
