Richmond American to debut subdivision

Richmond American Homes is hosting a grand opening celebration today at Vintage Oaks, a gated neighborhood in the southeastern valley.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy free food and refreshments, while touring four new models. Visitors can enter for a chance to win one of three iPods that will be given away at the event.

"Vintage Oaks offers a great location, exceptional value, and stunning homes that are brand new to the Las Vegas area," sales agent Anita Montecerin said.

"Our models are the first of these plans to ever be built, so we're really excited about the grand opening event. The homes have a lot of curb appeal, with attractive features like front porches and set-back garages. Two of the plans offer a bedroom on the main level, which is a really popular choice for a lot of buyers."

Vintage Oaks offers four floor plans from Richmond American's new Craftsman Collection, ranging from 1,850 to 2,400 square feet, with three to five bedrooms and 2 1/2 to four baths. All the homes are two-story designs and include an attached two-car garage.

The largest floor plan is the Stillwater, priced from the low $360,000s. This four-bedroom, four-bath home features a study on the main floor that can be selected as an optional fifth bedroom. The island kitchen opens to the great room.

A separate dining room provides a space for formal occasions.

Priced from the low $350,000s is the McIntosh, offering 2,200 square feet, three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.

A set-back garage adds appeal to the exterior of this home. The entrance features a hallway with a formal dining room off to one side, and a study or optional fifth bedroom to the other side.

The kitchen, nook and great room offer an open layout toward the back of the home.

A loft at the center of the second floor separates the master bedroom from the secondary bedrooms, with a fourth bedroom available in lieu of the loft.

The Seneca offers three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths in 2,000 square feet. The home features a covered porch.

The main level features a den, great and dining rooms and kitchen.

The second level is highlighted by a loft. A fourth bedroom is available in lieu of the loft.

The Seneca is priced from the low $330,000s.

Priced from the low $320,000s is the Mission, a three-bedroom home with 2 1/2 baths in 1,850 square feet.

Highlights of this home include a den, kitchen with a food preparation island, dining room and an optional loft.

To visit the model grand opening at Vintage Oaks, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Eastern Avenue and go south. Turn right on Coronado Center.

Model homes are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Friday, when they open at noon. For more information, call 290-8408.
