Ryland celebrates February

Ryland Homes kicks off a month of specials this weekend with its February “Live for the Moments” celebration. Throughout the month, every new Ryland homebuyer can get an upgraded gourmet kitchen and stainless steel General Electric appliance package at no additional cost. Ryland is also offering as much as $10,000 in upgrades or closing costs for homebuyers who select the builder’s preferred lender.

“It’s a great way to celebrate the month of love with savings you can really swoon over,” said Ken Harrell, sales agent at Ryland Homes’ Verada View neighborhood in Providence. “You will definitely love your new gourmet kitchen and stainless steel appliances. They add a level of sophistication to every modern kitchen.”

“We often hear that the kitchen is the heartbeat of the home,” Harrell said. “It is especially true in a Ryland home where the kitchens are often in the physical center of the home with living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms surrounding them. If you are looking for a new home, especially if it is your first one, our “Live for the Moments” promotion can add thousands in value and help your kitchen become the centerpiece it was meant to be.”

Homebuyers are creating new memories at Ryland neighborhoods throughout Southern Nevada with a few emerging as favorites with first-time buyers.

“Centennial Crossings is the perfect place to start making memories in your first new home,” said Charlie Muffley, sales agent at the North Las Vegas neighborhood. Centennial Crossings offers attached two-story homes with options to include Ryland’s signature rooftop deck. Four plans, ranging from 2,082 to 2,424 square feet include as many as four bedrooms, as many as three baths and two-car garages. Prices start at $187,990.

“Centennial Crossings is perfect for those who want the benefits of homeownership while staying within their budget,” Muffley said. “With prices starting well under $200,000, you can become a homeowner for about the same you are spending every month on rent. And you are near all of the parks in and around Aliante without the master plan fees.”

Ryland Homes’ in-house lender, RMC Mortgage, offers many loan programs from the Veteran’s Affairs, Federal Housing Administration and others such as the LIFT program available at Ryland’s Verada View neighborhood. LIFT is a cooperative effort between Neighborworks America and the Wells Fargo Foundation that provides down payment assistance to qualified buyers as well as financial education.

“Verada View is one of the only Ryland neighborhoods currently offering down payment assistance through the LIFT program,” Harrell said. When it is combined with Ryland’s February incentives, you can truly save thousands on your first new home. And we have a few homes available for quick-move in, so you could be welcoming spring from the vantage of your signature rooftop deck, overlooking the city lights.”

Verada View is a gated neighborhood that offers two- and three-story homes. All three-story homes at Verada View include Ryland’s rooftop deck and two-story homes offer them as options.

“We are already a bit elevated from the valley, so the rooftop decks provide panoramic vistas of the mountains and Las Vegas city lights,” Harrell said.

Verada View’s nine floor plans range from 1,926 to 2,420 square feet. These residences are available with as many as three bedrooms, as many as four baths and two-car garages.

The neighborhood offers three model homes for preview, including the 2,420-square-foot Capella plan, which includes three bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage.

“This popular plan includes dual master bedrooms,” Harrell said. “They are located on the first and third floors, with most of the home’s common areas on the second level. In fact, the entire third floor is dedicated to the primary owner’s suite with a bedroom, retreat, oversized walk-in closet and master bath. It even has an option for a wet bar.”

Verada View is near Providence’s 15-acre Knickerbocker Park that includes age-specific play areas for 2- to 5-year-olds and 5- to 12-year-olds, a swing set, dog park with small and large dog areas, splash pad, youth baseball field, a multiuse events field, a jogging path with exercise stations and picnic areas.
