Ryland Homes opens Catania

Ryland Homes' newest collection of homes, Catania, opens this weekend. Houses in the gated neighborhood are priced in the mid-$100,000s and includes a pool, spa, clubhouse and park for residents.

"Catania is one of our most exciting collections," said Randy Char, vice president of sales and marketing for Ryland Homes. Catania is located in Henderson near St. Rose Parkway, near shopping and dining. St. Rose Dominican Hospital's Siena campus is minutes away, as is the M Resort and the Henderson Executive Airport.

Four plans will be offered at Catania, ranging from 1,626 to 2,169 square feet. Among the plans Char thinks will be popular is the 2,169-square-foot Natalia plan. The two-story residence includes three bedrooms, 2½ baths and a two-car garage.

"This open plan includes large entry and options for up to five bedrooms," Char said. "The second-floor loft and first-floor den can both be built as additional bedrooms."

The Natalia's kitchen, which includes a gourmet cooking island, opens to a dining room and great room. The home's laundry room is located upstairs.

"I expect Catania to be as popular as Ryland's nearby collections, Jasmine and Cordova," Char said.

Jasmine is one of the few new townhome communities in Henderson.

Ryland Homes' Cordova Estates collection includes three floor plans ranging from 2,400 to 3,039 square feet in single and two-story plans. Each home offers as many as six bedrooms and three baths and a garage that will fit as many as three cars. Pricing starts in the mid-$200,000s.
