School officer fired after senior prank involving dead animals

A school resource officer was fired after allegedly being involved in a senior prank at a Tennessee high school.
At Sequoyah High School in Monroe County, shaving cream was smeared on the wall, hay scattered throughout the building and podiums broken. Dead animals were also hung in the hallway.
Teacher were forced to help with the cleanup while the rest of the school was kept in the gym for hours.
The school system said more than 100 students were involved. WVLT reported that all involved students are barred from graduation.
The Monroe County sheriff confirmed that the school’s resource officer was involved, but they’re still investigating to what extent. He has been fired.
