Shea Homes at Ardiente offers Try Before You Buy Program

Shea Homes at Ardiente, an age-qualified community in North Las Vegas, is inviting potential homebuyers to experience the lifestyle at Ardiente firsthand by booking a Taste The Good Life stay by May 18 through its Try Before You Buy Program.

“This program was created to give homebuyers an understanding of what living at a resort-style community is like,” said Kyle Tibbitts, community manager at Ardiente. “Not only will they experience living in one of our designer homes, but they get a chance to explore the community and all the surrounding areas as our residents do every day.”

For $199, a Taste The Good Life stay includes:

■ Two nights and three days;

■ Accommodations in one of Shea’s homes;

■ $100 Visa gift card to create a unique and personalized Las Vegas experience;

■ Unlimited access to the Ardiente Members’ Club, including resort pool, athletic club and special events;

■ Private tour of models;

■ Special purchase incentive to those who decide to purchase a home during their stay: a backyard landscape package valued at as much as $2,500.

Ardiente offers residents resort-style living. At the core of the gated community is a private 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, featuring two resort-style pools, fitness center, group exercise studio and access to miles of walking trails.

The community also offers its SheaXero — The No Electric Bill Home. These homes help to eliminate monthly electricity bills through floor plan design, construction, solar power and 14 energy-efficient features, according to Tibbitts.

SheaXero features include Whirlpool Energy Star appliances, Trane energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, low-e3 vinyl windows, cathedralized attic insulation and blown-in insulation .

Tibbitts said Ardiente isn’t charging extra for its solar system.

“With our green home, we are ecofriendly and more economical,” said SheaXero homeowner Ray Kristall. “We actually don’t mind opening our electric bills.”

Another owner, Glenn Erdell, agrees.

“Our community is ahead of the curve with their SheaXero homes. They had the three things that were important to us: low cost, environmental responsibility and social responsibility.”

“Not only are homebuyers getting freedom from expensive electric bills, but they get the freedom to follow their passions. That is what’s unique about living at Ardiente,” Tibbitts said.
