SheaXero home at Ardiente to celebrate one-year anniversary

Shea Homes at Ardiente, an age-qualified community in North Las Vegas, is inviting the public to celebrate SheaXero’s one-year anniversary and the first 1,000 sales of these homes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in honor of Earth Day.

According to company representatives, owners will collectively save more than $9.2 million on their electric bills during the next 10 years.

“We find joy in saving homeowners money, but what’s even more inspiring to us is how excited our residents are to safeguard the environment for their kids and grandkids,” said Ardiente’s community manager, Kyle Tibbitts.

During the next decade, the 1,000 SheaXero homes sold to date will save 84,767,552 pounds of carbon dioxide, which is equivalent to taking more than 8,000 cars off the road or planting more than 720,000 trees — enough trees to fill Central Park more than 30 times.

Ardiente integrates SheaXero technology, which combines solar power and energy-efficient features that slash or even eliminate electric bills, according to company representatives. Shea Homes at Ardiente is including these features in the base price of the homes, Tibbitts said. The energy-saving features include Jenn-Air Energy Star appliances, Trane energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, low-e3 vinyl windows and blown-in cellulose insulation.

The Sorrento model measures 2,259 square feet and has two bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage starting at $260,990. The design features an open concept with the foyer accented by archways. In addition, the great room offers space for entertaining and has an optional rolling glass wall. The kitchen has a center island and a serving bar connected to the dining room. The plan also has a den and master bedroom suite with an optional soaking tub.

The SheaXero prices start in the high $160,000s. Its Vacation Series homes are priced in the $150,000s.

The community’s 20,000-square-foot clubhouse has two resort-style pools, fitness center, access to walking trails and billiards and game rooms.
