SHOOTING STARS EXTRA: Snakes on the Strip!

Animal Planet's Donald Schultz, animal adventurer and venom expert, will roll the dice on the Strip starting this weekend, spending 10 days with 100 snakes (many of them deadly, we presume) for an upcoming "Wild Recon" special titled (what else?) "Venom in Vegas."

Starting Sunday, Schultz will spend 24/7 in a custom 16-by-20-foot glass enclosure — located outside O'Sheas Casino — alongside pythons, rattlers, cobras and other slithery reptiles.

In addition to sharing his snake encounters with passing tourists, webcam fans will be able to catch all the action on AnimalPlanet.com.

Tune in to Monday's Shooting Stars for full details on Schultz's 10-day Vegas vacation with his venomous pals ...
