‘Solution-ary’ Hip Hoppers Take Some Credit For Helping Obama

Everyone wants a piece of credit for helping Barack Obama win the presidency last night. Among them: the Hip Hop Caucus, fronted publicly by an 18-city "Respect My Vote! Get Out The Bus Tour" starring Jay Z, T.I., Russell Simmons and other hip hoppers.

"In the '60s, young people had to be revolutionary. But in the 21st century, we have decided to be 'solution-ary," the Caucus president, Rev. Lennox Yearwood, said in a statement.

"Solution-ary?" That's cool. Humans became civilized in evolutionary steps. America came about through the Revolutionary War. Obama rose to power with a Solutionary campaign. Huh.
