Compliments of Summerlin developer, The Howard Hughes Corp., the gift card will be presented upon close of escrow to buyers who sign a new-home contract in any qualifying Summerlin neighborhood during the month of August. In addition, many Summerlin homebuilders are offering further incentives.
Homebuilder incentives vary per neighborhood and homebuilder.
Example offers include as much as $20,000 off the home price, up to $10,000 in design upgrades, free window coverings and/or appliances, up to $8,000 toward closing costs and backyard landscaping.
Homebuyers are encouraged to preview all homebuilder incentives online at welcometosummerlin.com and discuss incentives with the neighborhood sales agents prior to purchasing their new home.
According to Kevin Orrock, executive vice president of master-planned communities for The Howard Hughes Corp., this is the first time in Summerlin's 20-year history that the community has offered this type of homebuyer incentive.
"And it's quite an incentive," Orrock said. "The gift card can be used however the homebuyer desires, which only adds to the fun. We look forward to giving our new residents a little assistance to help jump start their life in Summerlin."
