Summerlin’s Mesa village showcases new designs
Two dozen single-family home floor plans are selling in Summerlin's newest and most southern village developed to date, The Mesa. This nearly 500-acre desert contemporary inspired village is adjacent to the Spring Mountains in the southwest region of the valley.
According to Kevin Orrock, executive vice president of master-planned communities for The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin, The Mesa village is one of the community's more private villages.
"Because of its location adjacent to the federally protected Spring Mountains, The Mesa village is free from major thoroughfares and traffic," he said. "This offers residents of The Mesa village a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of big-city living, without compromising accessibility and convenience."
The newest neighborhood to open in The Mesa village is Adelina by KB Home. Adelina offers six home floor plans ranging from 1,785 to 2,678 square feet priced from the mid-$200,000s.
Ladera Terrace by Lennar offers three home floor plans that range from 2,320 to 2,622 square feet priced in the mid-$200,000s.
Pulte Homes has two neighborhoods in The Mesa: Ventana Amado and Terraza Amado. Ventana Amado's three home floor plans range from 1,810 to 2,100 square feet. Prices start in the low $200,000s. Terraza Amado's three home floor plans range from 2,197 to 2,575 square feet and are priced from the mid-$200,000s.
Richmond American Homes has two neighborhoods in The Mesa: Amado Ridge and Amado Crest. Amado Ridge's four home floor plans range from 1,450 to 2,250 and are priced from the low $200,000s. Amado Crest's five home floor plans range from 1,850 to 3,050 square feet and are priced from the mid-$200,000s.
All Summerlin neighborhoods feature a private resident park area, which complements other recreational amenities in The Mesa.
Those include miles of walking trails and The Mesa Park, a 19-acre village park with three Little League baseball fields (one with a concession stand), lighted tennis and basketball courts, a tot lot area and picnic ramadas. The Ladera and Amado neighborhoods also house a private resident pool.
The Mesa also is home to the 35-acre Bishop Gorman High School, a 58-year-old Catholic college preparatory school that moved to its new Summerlin location in 2007. Future plans for the village include additional neighborhoods and a house of worship.
To visit, from the Las Vegas Beltway, exit westbound at Russell Road and follow the directional signs.
