LAS VEGAS RESIDENTS INVITED TO COFFEE WITH THE MAYOR

Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman is scheduled to meet with residents at 8 a.m. Jan. 28 at Cardenas Market, 4421 E. Bonanza Road.

Coffee with the Mayor is an opportunity for residents to discuss issues or socialize with the mayor. City Councilman Bob Coffin is also scheduled to attend.

BLOOD DRIVE PLANNED AT WHITNEY LIBRARY

The Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave., is scheduled to host a blood drive with United Blood Services from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 25.

PROFESSIONAL SOCCER TO RETURN TO SAM BOYD STADIUM

The Colorado Rapids and Chivas USA are scheduled to return for a soccer game set for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at Sam Boyd Stadium, 7000 E. Russell Road.
