Teacher accused of forcing former student to eat feces

Police in South Korea arrested a university professor after he allegedly beat a former student with a baseball bat and forced him to eat feces and drink human urine.

The teacher, surnamed Jang, 52, along with other former students are accused of abusing the 29-year-old victim on at least 16 different occasions, the Washington Post reported. They allegedly beat him with a bat, covered his head with a bag filled with pepper spray and made him collect human waste and consume it while they watched, according to police.

“They also said they would cut his Achilles tendon if he ever tried to run away," police told a Korean newspaper.

The abuse was reported by a coworker at the restaurant he was reportedly forced to work at without earnings. He said he tolerated the abuse because he wanted a job the teacher promised him.

Two other former students were arrested, AP reported.
