Team Ford Lincoln event to aid juvenile diabetes foundation

Team Ford Lincoln is using test drives to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation on Saturday during “Driven to Give,” a national fundraising initiative by Lincoln Motor Co.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Lincoln Motor Co. and Team Ford Lincoln will donate $20 to the foundation to fund research to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes for every test drive of an eligible Lincoln vehicle.

“The JDRF is a wonderful organization and so inspiring,” said Jodie Huebner, Lincoln sales manager at Team Ford Lincoln. “That they are committed to finding a cure and that they provide needed resources and support for patients living with diabetes gives hope to everyone affected.”

“Driven to Give” is a project inspired by the Lincoln Reimagine Project, a
$1.2 million program that will help fund projects and ideas in the areas of arts and design and thought leadership.

Team Ford Lincoln is at 5445 Drexel Road, near U.S. Highway 95 and Ann Road. The dealership offers sales, service and parts along with a free arcade, free Wi-Fi and Cobra Café. It has been Nevada’s No. 1 volume Ford dealer for five years.
