Teen dies after car crashes into funeral home

A 17-year-old died Monday night after crashing into an Oakland, Calif., funeral home.

Police told KTVU the blue sedan was speeding when it jumped a curb and crashed into Fouche's Hudson funeral home at 3665 Telegraph Ave. Police are trying to determine if the passenger who died, Deshawn Rabon, was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Witnesses said three others in the car fled the scene after the crash. A pedestrian was also injured and was taken to the hospital.

Rabon would have been a senior at McClymonds High school in Oakland later this year.
