The Irons Collection at Rhodes Ranch features three single-story floor plans

The Irons at Rhodes Ranch is a collection of three single-story floor plans perfect for those looking for their first home, said sales agent Taylor Smith. And with the government-sponsored incentive of $8,000 towards first home purchase deadine, time is running out to buy the home of your dreams, according to Smith.

"First-time homebuyers have great opportunities to get federal money towards the purchase of a new home," Smith said.

"From now until November (homes must close by Nov. 30 at 12 midnight according to the Internal Revenue Service, irs.gov) first-time buyers can take advantage of the government incentive of up to $8,000 towards the purchase of your new home. And with incredible pricing and incentives already being offered at Rhodes Ranch, you can save thousands and still get a brand new home in a master (-planned) community."

In addition to the federal incentive for first-time buyers, developer Rhodes Homes is offering each new home buyer 3 percent of the sale price to be used for closing costs.

"At The Irons, that could translate up to $7,500," Smith said. "That's more than $15,000 off the cost of your first home. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

The Irons offer several floor plans, including Residences 1467 and 1611, both named for their square footage. An additional plan, Residence 1931, is also offered at The Irons but not shown as a model home.

"Single-story plans are very popular for those who like higher ceilings or don't want to climb stairs," Smith said. "The ceilings at The Irons homes really open them up and give the feeling of more space."

Residence 1467 at The Irons includes three bedrooms, two baths, great room and two-car garage.

Residence 1611 includes four bedrooms, two baths, great room and two-car garage. "This is one of our more popular plans because both the master bedroom and the third bedroom have walk-in closets," Smith said. "The fourth bedroom is also up at the far front of the home which gives a little more privacy for guests or an office."

Residence 1931 at The Irons includes three bedrooms, two baths, family room, dining room, attached kitchen island and two-car garage. "This is a very unique plan, with the master bedroom very centrally located in the home," Smith said. "It has direct access to the kitchen and two walk-in closets, which everyone really likes."

Standard features with all homes in Rhodes Ranch include finished garages, ceiling fan prewiring in all bedrooms and common rooms, decorative 61/2-inch baseboards, rocker switches in all rooms and phone and cable outlets in all bedrooms and common rooms.

Residents at The Irons are offered access to the Rhodes Ranch amenities, including walking trails, an award-winning golf course and a 35,000-square-foot recreation center. Rhodes Ranch also offers residents privacy with a 24-Hour guard-gated entrance.

The R Club recreation center at Rhodes Ranch has dozens of indoor and outdoor activities including swimming pools, a workout facility, racquetball and basketball courts, billiards room and space for socializing.

Rhodes Ranch's Fun Zone features a 13,000-square-foot lagoon pool with wading areas and a 10,000-square-foot water park complete with three speed slides, five kid slides, rope bridges and multiple squirt gun stations.

Located adjacent to the community's R Club, it also includes a 25-meter lap pool, two eight-person spas, a 12-person group spa, four large covered cabanas, one exterior lighted basketball court, two sand volleyball courts, four lighted tennis courts and a children's playground with activity structures.

To visit The Irons at Rhodes Ranch, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive, and then go south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
