The Dive-In Movie Series at the JW Marriott, 221 N. Rampart Blvd., continues at 8:30 p.m. Saturdays through Labor Day weekend. Admission is free for Las Vegas residents. "Oliver" is scheduled to run as part of Super Summer Theatre's season lineup at 8 p.m. July 11-28 at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park on state Route 159 about 10 miles west of the Las Vegas Beltway. Parking opens at 5 p.m., and meadow seating opens at 6 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or rent a chair in general-admission grass seating. Advance tickets are $12. As part of the summer reading program, a Vegas PBS Ready to Learn program for kids 3 to 11 is planned from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 10 at the West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd. In this interactive parent-child workshop, participants will be given ideas for simple, hands-on activities that will support their preschoolers' learning using PBS children's programs and online resources.
