Plan ahead

n Ethel M’s annual cactus-lighting event is set for Nov. 13. A limited number of tickets will be available to those who bring one new, unwrapped toy to the factory at 2 Cactus Garden Drive. For each toy, people can receive a four-pack of tickets to the event, with a limit of eight tickets per family. Toys will be donated to the annual KLUC Toy Drive. The lighting event is expected to feature entertainers George Wallace, Michael Grimm and Zowie Bowie. Photos with Santa Claus, face painting, balloon artists, raffles and chocolate samples also are planned. All guests also can receive 3-D glasses to view special effects at the lighting.
