Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman is slated to launch his memoir “Being Oscar: From Mob Lawyer to Mayor of Las Vegas — Only in America” at the National Museum of Organized Crime & Law Enforcement, the Mob Museum, 300 Stewart Ave. The “Being Oscar” Bash is to feature entertainment from 6:30 to 9 p.m. May 23. Admission is free to museum members and $10 for others. Guests who purchase a copy of the book, which retails for $26, from the museum gift shop on May 24 will receive free admission to the museum. Goodman plans 30-minute presentations in the museum’s historic courtroom at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Free admission with a book purchase is also planned on May 25.
