n The 2013 season of Super Summer Theatre is into its last show at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, roughly 10 miles west of the Las Vegas Beltway on Charleston Boulevard/state Route 159. n North Las Vegas is set to open Craig Ranch Regional Park, 628 W. Craig Ranch Road, at 9 a.m. Oct. 25, with free all-day celebrations and an evening concert. Festivities will go until 4 p.m. and be followed by a surprise celebrity concert at 6 p.m. The 170-acre park offers multiple playgrounds, gazebos for weddings, corporate retreats and birthday parties, a 5-acre dog park and 64 community garden plots and a four-bowl skatepark, athletic fields and bucolic scenery.
