— The Clark County Fair is scheduled for this weekend at the Clark County Fairgrounds, 1301 Whipple Ave., Logandale, about 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas. Take Interstate 15 north to exit 93. Hours are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to midnight Friday, 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Live entertainment, rodeo, exhibits and more are featured. — ArtWalk, produced by Mark Vranesh, has transformed into a new event in partnership with the Las Vegas Farmers Market. Art at the Market is planned for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Bruce Trent Park, 1600 N. Rampart Blvd. The arts and crafts portion will feature dozens of juried artisans (60 were invited, and 40 have signed on to date). Vranesh’s signature “Palms” signed prints will be sold at the information booth, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Transition Services, a charitable organization. Featured music will include Vibhas Kendzia, a flute and saxophone musician. — The Las Vegas Shakespeare Company contacted Rick Pessagno and his wife, Tammy, to direct “Charlotte’s Web,” scheduled to open at 7:30 p.m. April 19 at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 S.
