Throw-away babies

A woman in Miami is suing an abortion doctor who botched the procedure, resulting in a live birth. The doctor allegedly knocked her baby off the chair where the girl had given birth, then scooped the infant, placenta and afterbirth into a red plastic biohazard bag, and threw it out.

Flashback: Barack Obama, who as a candidate said he doesn't know when life begins, supports in concept the actions of this doctor. He hasn't said anything about this case, but he actually advocated as an Illinois legislator the position that even after an accidental live birth, "once an abortion, always an abortion". And, I am sorry to tell you, a majority of Democrats think he's right.

I don't know what it is going to take, but one day I hope America puts this issue again on the front-burner. If you can throw away a baby during pregnancy, then you can throw it away after a live birth ... be it 5 minutes ... an hour ... a day ... and on and on.
