UNLV picked up its first commitment of the recruiting season and possibly its quarterback for next football season. Sean Reilly will sign Wednesday out of Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, Calif., meaning he will enroll and go through spring practices.
"I really liked them when I visited out there," Reilly said of the Rebels. "I liked the players. I liked the coaches. I was really impressed with the facilities. I'm impressed with everything."
Reilly (6 feet 4 inches, 210 pounds) also considered Kansas and Louisiana Tech. Virginia showed early interest, but he said he decided he didn't want to play there.
This past season at Saddleback, Reilly completed 60.6 percent of his passes for 2,323 yards and 20 touchdowns, with six interceptions.
