Village Square, 9400 W. Sahara Ave., kicked off the holiday season with its first tree-lighting ceremony on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30. The ceremony included musical performances by students from Las Vegas Academy and the Our Lady of Las Vegas Roman Catholic choir. Santa Claus also made a special appearance.
