William Lyon sets sites big

William Lyon Homes' The Commons neighborhood offers new homes with ample room for outdoor entertaining as well as a swimming pool.

In its first phase of development, the northwestern valley neighborhood features two-story residences ranging from 2,254 to 2,727 square feet on home sites measuring up to 12,000 square feet. Prices start from $217,000.

"The Commons definitely appeals to those who are looking for a very spacious home on a large home site. What makes The Commons unique is that we offer large home sites that range from 'large' to 'huge' and every lot can fit a pool," sales associate Maria Bengtson said.

"Another thing that has impressed home shoppers is the designs of the homes. The homes are very spacious with plenty of room for everyday living," she said. "All of the rooms, especially the secondary bedrooms, are big. A family can definitely live comfortably inside each home and there is enough space in the backyard for outdoor living and entertaining. I've had a lot of people visit The Commons and say 'This is what we need in our next home.'"

The new neighborhood provides buyers a $20,000 incentive through the builder's Any Way You Want It promotion. Through the limited-time incentive program, buyers receive a credit of $20,000 with the purchase of select homes that can be used for upgrades, loan fees, rate buy-downs, price reduction and in any combination. Details are available at the sales office.

Among the homes available during the first phase of development with opportunity for quick move-in is a Plan Three home situated on a 12,000-square-foot site.

"... It's the largest with 2,727 square feet and has a big open great-room design. This home has five bedrooms, including one bedroom on the first floor next to a full bath, which can also make a nice guest room," Bengtson said.

Structural options available in the Plan Three design include a loft, second-floor master suite retreat, den, patio cover and deck off the master bedroom.

Two other floor plans are available at the 37-home neighborhood.

The Plan One model features three bedrooms, plus a den, 2½ baths and a kitchen overlooking a dining area and great room in 2,254 square feet. Options include a fourth bedroom, loft, third full bath and deck.

Measuring 2,575 square feet is Plan Two. This design features four bedrooms, 2½ baths and separate dining and family rooms, as well as options for an extended family room or home office, loft and master suite retreat.

To visit, take the northern Las Vegas Beltway to Decatur Boulevard, head north toward Grand Teton Drive and follow the signs. The models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at noon.

Incentives through the Any Way You Want It promotion also are being offered for a limited time on select home purchases at The Crossings and The Fields neighborhoods.

The Crossings features three single-story models measuring from 2,652 to 3,068 square feet on home sites that can be as big as one-half acres.

Priced from the $260,000s, they offer as many as four bedrooms, as many as 3½ baths, paver-stone driveways and three-car garages.
