Woman finds scorpion while trying on JCPenney dress

A Bay Area woman got a nasty surprise recently while trying on a dress in a JCPenney dressing room.

When Sandra Hernandez pulled the dress above her head in the Hayward, Calif., dressing room on Sunday, a scorpion flew out and landed at her feet.

Hernandez corralled the scorpion, which she said was about three inches long, and called a store employee, who tried to catch it in a bag. The scorpion slipped through a crack in the wall, though, and employees weren’t able to track it down, according to CBS San Francisco.
