Woodside Homes gives energy-efficient washers, dryers to new homebuyers

At Woodside Homes, nine Las Vegas and Henderson neighborhoods offer a variety of floor plans, with prices starting in the mid $100,000s.

"If you have been waiting for the right time to buy a new home, it is now," said Mike Kearns, sales and escrow manager for Woodside Homes Nevada. "As demand has increased over the last several months, this may be the last opportunity to take advantage of such low pricing and interest rates. Prices have already started increasing in some neighborhoods and we expect them to continue the trend through the end of the year."

Through the end of June, the builder is giving free energy-efficient front-loading washers and dryers to all new home buyers.

Kearns said the front-loading and energy-efficient washer and dryer each new homeowner will receive is valued at more than $2,000.

"Plus, you'll save money every month with these appliances that use less water and energy to operate," he said. "And of course, several of our floor plans include upstairs laundry rooms, which make them even more convenient for those with families."

Among the new home collections offered by Woodside Homes is Madison Colony at Providence in northwestern Las Vegas. Madison Colony is located in the master-planned community and offers five floor plans starting at $140,000. The two-story homes range from 1,357 to 1,927 square feet, with as many as four bedrooms and as many as three baths. Providence offers tree-lined boulevards and mature landscapes in paseos and parks.

Another Woodside Homes collection is Rio Vista at Mountain's Edge in southwestern Las Vegas. Rio Vista offers five two-story floor plans ranging from 1,346 to 1,915 square feet with up to five bedrooms and three baths. Prices start in the mid $100,000s.

Mountains Edge is located near the foothills of southwestern Las Vegas. The community includes more than 500 acres of land devoted to open spaces, including miles of walking trails and five parks. Mountain's Edge is planned to have an entire network of schools, professional offices, restaurants and neighborhood shops ranging from boutiques to a state-of-the-art grocery store.
