You mean we can fix Nevada’s budget without taxes?

It was funny to see in this morning's Las Vegas Sun the hissy-fit coverage and commentary on Rory Reid's proposal to balance the state budget by cuts alone and not by tax hikes. Says the Sun: "Rory Reid has seemed to out-Gibbons Gibbons." (And that was the "news" story, not the commentary.)
This, of course, violates all that is holy in the Gospel of the Sun, which over the years in both good times and bad times preaches massive tax hikes on Nevadans -- even a repeal on the ban on personal income taxes.
In the overall scheme of things what the Sun writes or doesn't write matters little anymore, but just one question: Does this mean the Sun won't be endorsing Rory Reid for governor?
