YOUR WEEKEND: Learn about the tortoise at Lorenzi Park

Looking for a place to learn little more about the tortoise and get a little bit of learning in over summer break?

The Tortoise group meets from 1 to 3 p.m. on July 18 at the Nevada State Museum in Lorenzi Park, 700 Twin Lakes Drive. The meeting will feature Native American storytelling about the tortoise and the desert. After, children can participate in a coloring contest.
