It’s been over a month since UNLV hired new men’s basketball head coach T. J. Otzelberger. Since then, Otzelberger has kept his promise in trying to keep as many former players on the team as possible, while at the same time, adding new recruits of his own. Otzelberger has also brought in a new coaching staff that includes former Runnin’ Rebel, Kevin Kruger.
The Runnin’ Rebels are just one of four teams left in the Mountain West that are undefeated in conference play. UNLV is off to its first 2-0 start in 13 years, but will face a tough test when the team heads on the road to face New Mexico on Tuesday, Jan. 8th.
