Henderson police received a call around 8:05 a.m. Saturday about an incident at a business in the 2700 block of North Green Valley Parkway. A patron outside the business told officers there was a man who stated, “Get someone here right away. I’m going to stab someone.”

On February 19th, 2019, at approximately 10:23 am, a robbery occurred to a business located on the 3000 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard. The pictured suspect entered the business, approached the counter and pointed a firearm at the victim demanding money. The victim complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.

On Thursday, February 14, 2019, at approximately 8:42 a.m., the Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a swift water incident where people were trapped in the Durango wash which is located near 8771 Halcon Ave. Personnel found one person who was trapped in the flood channel. Wayne Newton and his wife, Kathleen, arrived at their southeast Las Vegas home shortly before midnight on Wednesday to find two burglars inside their house. The burglars fled and were seen heading north through the property. Las Vegas police quickly set up a perimeter and launched an extensive search of the area, but the suspects were able to escape. It was unclear if the burglars got away with anything of value. Several items, under the watchful eyes of the police, were seen on the ground near the home’s main driveway. Neither Newton, nor his wife, were injured. The Newtons were not available for comment.
On Jan. 22, a man robbed a bank in the 8700 block of West Sahara Avenue.
On January 22nd, 2018, a bank robbery occurred near the 8700 block of West Sahara Avenue. The suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money from the drawer. The teller complied and the suspect left the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was described as a black male adult, in his 30’s, 5’8″-5’9″ tall, weighing 150-175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black Adidas hat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black framed Prescription
glasses.
