MGM Resorts International is selling the Bellagio property and leasing it back. This move gives the casino operator a cash infusion of more than $4 billion.MGM announced Tuesday that it reached a deal with New York financial giant The Blackstone Group.
MGM announces the sale of Circus Circus for $825 million to TI owner Phil Ruffin on Tuesday, October 15. The 3,767-room property sits on a plot of about 60 acres near Sahara Avenue on the north side of the Strip.

The city of Las Vegas will welcome the NFL with open arms in 2020, with the draft set for April 23-25 and the new Raiders stadium opening in July. Nashville hosted the 2019 NFL Draft and broke multiple records including total direct spending and attendance and the pressure is on Las Vegas to top those figures.
A woman accused of trafficking an 11-year-old girl on the Strip agreed to plead guilty to a child abuse charge, her attorney said. Gigi Mitchell, 40, faces several counts of child abuse and one count of child sex trafficking. The 11-year-old girl told social worker Felicia Tucker that she was a “hustler” and entered nightclubs where she drank and flirted with men.
More than 500 fans of Hello Kitty lined up for the grand opening of the Hello Kitty Cafe on the strip. The first 50 customers received a Hello Kitty themed keychain with their purchase. Hello Kitty appeared as a special guest to greet all of the fans in line and gave out hugs. By 7 p.m., the cafe sold more than 1000 pastries and beverages with 150 people still in line waiting for their treats.

A pair of robbery suspects led police to three parking garages around the Las Vegas Strip before they were caught early Tuesday morning.
The first robbery took place at the Treasure Island parking garage, where two suspects “battered” a 71-year-old, her adult daughter and a juvenile girl.
The suspects, one of who was armed, next demanded money and property from a pair of 18-year-olds at Fashion Show mall. The suspects were later spotted at the SLS Las Vegas parking garage. They tried to get away by ramming a patrol car with their vehicle. That effort failed and they were taken into custody.

T-Mobile’s new, nightclub-themed Las Vegas Strip store opened Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018. Visitors can access 25 portable phone chargers, a photo booth and a concierge desk for buying tickets to T-Mobile Arena. Upstairs is a virtual reality headset and a non-alcoholic drink bar with sodas and juice shots. The store employs 79 people and is 9,000 square feet. This is the company’s fifth signature-style store after New York, Chicago, Miami and Santa Monica.
