One person was sent to the hospital after a rollover Monday morning on Flamingo Road near Jones Boulevard. An SUV rolled over, hit a light pole and caught fire. Clark County firefighters helped Las Vegas police clear the scene. Police could not say if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.

A fire on Sunday at the King Richard Court apartments near Russell and Paradise has left 10 people without a home. Even though the fire was contained in 20 minutes, there was enough damage to prevent the 10 from being able to spend the night in their own beds. Nobody was injured and the cause of the fire was not known as of early Monday morning. The American Red Cross of Southern Nevada was on the scene to help those displaced.

A pedestrian has been hospitalized after being struck by a sports utility vehicle early Tuesday morning. The man suffered serious injuries from the crash, which was reported just after 5 a.m. on Craig Road near Puebla Street. The driver of the SUV remained on the scene and was cooperating with police. He did not appear to be impaired, police said.

Car crash near credit union kills 2

Two people were killed in a car crash Sunday afternoon in the western valley. Two cars collided about 4:45 p.m. on Rainbow Boulevard, just south of Westcliff Drive. A white Chrysler struck a black Toyota as it was turning left into a shopping center, Las Vegas police said. The Chrysler jumped a curb and struck the corner of the Silver State Schools Credit Union office. The Toyota flipped and the driver and the passenger, who was ejected from the car, died at the scene. The driver of the Chrysler suffered minor injuries and police said he was not impaired. It’s unclear if he will face charges.
