Del Webb, developer of 55-and-over communities, is holding a ceremonial groundbreaking Wednesday for a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse in a new housing tract in Henderson. The community, Del Webb Lake Las Vegas, will span 125 acres and feature 460 homes priced from the low-$400,000-range.

Las Vegas developer J Dapper has reached a deal to buy the shuttered Huntridge Theater for $4 million. The run-down, World War II-era building needs a lot of work. Dapper wants to renovate the theater and envisions building apartments and a restaurant next to it. Multiple revival plans have come and gone over the years for the Huntridge. But supporters said they are excited about Dapper’s acquisition plan.
Raiders head coach Jon Gruden likes what he sees out of his young team who have been impressive despite injuries to veteran players.
