The Rebels fell just short of upsetting No. 4 San Diego State on Sunday afternoon, losing 71-67. The loss came on the same day as the tragic passing of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, as well as seven other passengers aboard the helicopter that crashed in Calabasas, California.

UNLV might have to send out invitations to its former football players for another Sam Boyd Stadium send-off again next season.
