Lights training partner Renae Cuellar readies for national team duty

The Lights FC has had a special guest at training the last three weeks. Renae Cuellar, a member of the Mexican national team, has been practicing with the club. Cuellar is married to Lights midfielder Carlos Alvarez. The two don’t take it easy on each other in training though. Obviously I love her, I’m going to take care of her as much as possible but on the field if she’s not on my team, she’s my enemy. At the end of the day, that’s the way I see it and that’s the way we’re going to compete. She sees it the same way, let me tell you. If she could kick me, she’ll kick me. She won’t hold back.
