Centennial Hyundai warranty administrator is key staffer

In the car business, the many facets of a dealership can be endless challenges for those in charge. In what must be a teamwork effort, every department has to be running on all cylinders to achieve the best results, said company officials.

And as warranty administrator at Centennial Hyundai at 6200 Centennial Center Blvd. in the northwest valley, General Manager Chance Slingerland doesn’t have to worry since Adina Arbesu is in charge.

“Adina is super,” Slingerland said of Arbesu. “Like each of our departments, this one is vitally important and I know that this one is in good hands with Adina.”

With each sale – and there are many at Centennial Hyundai each month – comes what is well known as the best warranty in the world.

The ten year, 100,000-mile power train warranty along with the five-year, 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty for all new vehicles remains unmatched in the highly-competitive world of automobile sales.

When a car deal is completed, it’s the hard-working Arbesu who officially presents the warranty package and, with it, the comfort in knowing that with a new Hyundai comes invaluable peace of mind.

“That’s absolutely true,” said Arbesu, a native Las Vegan whose career has spanned about six years. “Customers are happy to see me because this warranty is the complete warranty. Everything is covered with the purchase of a new Hyundai.”

Then, too, if a loaner vehicle is needed during any warranty work, it’s Arbesu who supplies the temporary transportation.

In fact, the warranty combined with the fact that the locally owned umbrella of dealerships also provides the perfect work place for Arbesu, who undoubtedly could work for just about any automobile dealership in Southern Nevada.

“I love coming to work every day,” she said. “This is the most comfortable dealership I have ever worked at in my career. I’m very happy here and have been since the day I started.”

Arbesu, whose career in the car business started at Warthen Buick on East Sahara, cannot imagine working anywhere else now. She also can’t imagine living anywhere else.

“Vegas has been very good to me,” she said. “There are many very good people here and what makes this city so interesting is that its people and businesses never give up no matter what the challenges or the issues.

“Also, this is a city where you can afford to live; and that’s a huge factor.”

Dealership Service Manager John Gonzalez echoes the praise given by Slingerland when speaking of Arbesu.

“Adina is a team player no matter what it is that she needs to do,” Gonzalez said. “She’s very valuable to us and our customers because of her behind-the-scenes work. Her job requires wearing many different hats; and a huge part of our success in the service department is thanks to her diligence, dedication and all the time that she puts in.”

The umbrella of dealerships also includes Planet Hyundai Used Car Super Store at 7100 W. Sahara Ave., along with Planet Hyundai Sahara at 7150 W. Sahara.
