Team Ford Lincoln’s Raptor drawing aids charity

Team Ford Lincoln and Operation Fire Holiday Emergency Assistance Team, or H.E.A.T., held a prize drawing for a new, fully loaded 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor truck. The proceeds of the raffle were added to a fund to help provide holiday toys, gifts and food to children affected by catastrophic fires during the holiday season. This is the fifth year Operation Fire H.E.A.T. has raised money and goods in Southern Nevada.

ABC Hyundai opens

Southern Nevada’s economic outlook continues to trend upward as the holiday season nears. And, with the recent opening of Downtown Summerlin and the opening of ABC Hyundai, a new- and used-car dealership, the expectation is that holiday spending will be up from last year.

GM recalling over 60,000 more vehicles

General Motors is recalling more than 60,000 vehicles in North America. The recalls are Pontiac G8s from the 2008 through the 2009 model years and 2011-2013 model Chevrolet Caprice PPV left-hand-drive sedans imported from Australia and 10,005 Cadillac CTS-V sedans from the 2004-2007 and 2006-2007 model Cadillac STS-Vs.
