Job fair for Downtown Summerlin project announced

The Howard Hughes Corp. has planned a job fair for locals interested in working inside the company’s 2,000-employee Downtown Summerlin project.

The fair will take place inside the Summerlin Ballroom at Red Rock Resort on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues will be looking for full- and part-time workers for Downtown Summerlin, a 1.6 million-square-foot development with stores, movie theaters, eateries and a nightclub. Positions will be available in management, sales, food service and administration.

Hiring companies will see applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Candidates should bring a resume and a list of professional references.

Companies confirmed for the fair include Macy’s, Dillard’s, Regal Cinemas, Forever 21, Hot Topic, My Wireless AT&T, New Balance, Sephora, Red Robin, Skechers and Zaba’s Mexican Grill.
