A new state-of-the-art sports book featuring a 165-inch high-definition projection screen and 46 HD television screens has opened at the Pahrump Nugget in time for the last two weeks of the NCAA basketball tournament.
Golden Casino Group, a division of Las Vegas-based Golden Entertainment, announced the opening of the facility, which will be managed by William Hill Race and Sports Book. In a statement, Golden didn’t disclose how much it invested in the facility.
At 3,500 square feet, it’s the largest sports book in Pahrump and includes a bar with bar-top slot machines and food offerings.
The book will have a special promotion April 2, the date of two NCAA semifinal games, and April 3, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., when bettors will get a free drink and a hot dog for every $10 wagered.
