Wynn granted citizenship in Monaco

Wynn Resorts Ltd. Chairman and CEO Steve Wynn has been granted citizenship in Monaco. Wynn will retain his U.S. citizenship, according to the company.

The Monegasque citizenship, conferred by the principality's ruler, Prince Albert II, came as a result of Wynn's decision to serve as an outside director for a joint venture between the governments of Monaco and Qatar.

Wynn Resorts early today didn't immediately provide details of the joint venture.
