Free Kaskade show, Paul Oak’s farewell, Mario Lopez: Your Weekend Club Forecast

Here's the craziest thing at the clubs this weekend: Kaskade, the most famous DJ in America right now, is performing a free show at Cosmopolitan's Marquee nightclub to celebrate winning an award naming him top DJ in the world.

Also this weekend: Paul Oakenfold has announced he's leaving his Palms residency soon, so this weekend is one of the last times you can catch him at Rain. And now, here's your weekend club forecast.

Laura Croft Friday Lavo.

(And unrelated to clubs but still big: It’s First Friday downtown. As I said in today’s paper: Tonight is the inaugural First Friday under new ownership by four men associated with Zappos. Find free parking with shuttles to Casino Center Hub at Stratosphere parking garage; City Hall on Stewart Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard; Clark County Government Center, which also shuttles to Fremont East.)

Now here's some old Kaskade, one of the songs that set him off a few years ago, the very pretty "I Remember" by him and Deadmau5, with Haley Gibby on vocals.
