Thanks, Warren!

A tip of the propeller cap to Warren Weitzman of the Sun City Anthem Computer Club who helped get my PowerBook running again after it appeared to die prior to my presentation to the group this afternoon. Thank goodness for the "safe boot" mode, which did the trick. all seems to be humming well again. While I wasn't able to get to my prepared presentation, I did enjoy "winging it" for about 90 minutes with a very gracious audience.

I'll be back in the fall for another shot at my show-and-tell about the ever-changing landscape of media consumption.

In the meantime, I'll be sure to heed my own advice and make backups of important files, then send them to a Web-based e-mail account or to my dotMac account!

Back-up, back-up, back-up...
