Berkley on September jobless rate: 'Create jobs in Nevada, not in China'

Rep. Shelley Berkley, D-Nev., reacting to this morning's report that Nevada's jobless rate remained at 13.4 percent in September while unemployment dropped in Las Vegas, said this is a statement:

"Today's announcement makes clear that we need to be focused on creating jobs in Nevada, not in China. Unfortunately, some in Washington are more focused on protecting the Chinese government's unfair trade policies that are cheating American workers out of their jobs than getting Nevadans back to work. Nevada needs jobs and we need them now. I will continue to fight to create jobs here because too many Nevadans are suffering for Congress to be wasting time on anything other than job-creation."
